Turkey eSIM: what each trip length costs
If you fly from Saudi Arabia or Egypt to Istanbul or Cappadocia, you need data the moment you land for maps and ride apps, and an eSIM saves the queue for a local SIM. On 22 October 2026 we checked the Turkey pages of Airalo and Holafly; both sell unlimited-data plans from 3 to 30 days.
Airalo was cheaper at every length. On short trips the gap is small, 11.50 dollars for 3 days against 11.90 at Holafly, but it widens for a two-week stay: 39 dollars for 15 days at Airalo versus 50.50 at Holafly. Airalo names Turk Telekom (Avea) as its primary network in Turkey. For a month, Airalo charges 69 dollars, roughly 2.30 dollars a day.

The process
- Count the exact days you will be in Turkey, since plans are sold by days.
- Compare the same length in the table, not just the lowest price.
- Check that your phone supports eSIM and is unlocked.
- Install before you leave and turn it on at the Turkish airport.
Prices are in US dollars as shown on the Airalo and Holafly pages on 22 October 2026; they can change or show in another currency depending on your account.
