flyadeal baggage allowance: what each fare includes and when you pay extra
flyadeal sells three fares, and the biggest practical difference between them is the bag in the hold. This page puts the official weights and sizes side by side so you can decide whether upgrading the fare or adding a bag later is the cheaper move.

Fare upgrade or extra bag?
If you fly with one suitcase of up to 20 kg, fly+ includes it; on the fly fare you buy the bag separately in Manage Booking, where flyadeal lists prices per destination. Compare the two totals on the booking screen for your date; the cheaper option changes by route and season, so we do not quote a fixed price.
Measuring at home
- Measure the carry-on with wheels and handles: 55 x 40 x 20 cm is the outside size.
- Weigh it with what you will actually carry; 7 kg includes everything in that bag.
- The under-seat item must fit under the seat in front of you.
- Liquids follow airport security rules, separately from the airline weight limit.
Over-size and refused bags
Hold bags larger than 75 x 50 x 35 cm are charged as over-size. Anything above 140 x 85 x 65 cm is not carried. flyadeal does not accept animals in the cabin or the hold.
Infants
A passenger travelling with an infant may bring one more small under-seat bag for the baby, according to the flyadeal Help Centre carry-on article.
Bags are cheapest added before the airport: see how to add bags in flyadeal Manage Booking.
