flyadeal seat selection: what is free on each fare
On flyadeal, seats are paid on the fly fare, standard seats are free on fly+, and every seat type is free on flyMax. You can add a seat up to 90 minutes before departure, but not after you check in.

How to add or change a seat
- Open Manage My Booking with your booking reference and family name.
- Choose "manage add-ons" and pick your seat.
- Pay by card, mada, flyadeal credit or vouchers.
If you change your flight date, the seat does not move automatically, but what you paid stays available for a new seat.
Free seat selection and check-in without a seat
Free seat choice is part of fly+ (standard seats) and flyMax (all seats). On the fly fare you can still pick a seat during web check-in for a fee; seats cannot be changed once you are checked in.
Which seat to pick
The front row has a 38-inch pitch, the most legroom on board. Rows 2 to 4 offer a 30-inch pitch and a quicker exit on arrival. Female travellers can choose the Ladies Only section in rows 15 and 16.
Seat-related fees around check-in
Seats cannot be changed after check-in. Uncheck cancels an issued boarding pass so you can manage the booking, for 30 SAR per passenger online or 100 SAR via the call centre, between 240 and 6 hours before departure. A domestic boarding pass issued at the airport counter costs 30 SAR on fly and fly+, and the personal item for online check-in is up to 30 x 20 x 40cm.
